Snowbirds

It’s cold here in Barcelona. Maybe not as cold as it is in New York, but it’s a heck of a lot more humid. And that means the cold gets into your bones. Add this to the fact that nobody here knows how to build a house that doesn’t let the cold seep in through the windows and you’ll understand why we’re blowing this pop stand. Florida, here we come!

Manacles

In just a few hours, we’ll be hopping a flight to Miami for a much-needed 10-day family holiday. The bags are packed. The laptop is loaded. Wherever you look, rechargeable batteries are preparing themselves for the trip. I want warm and I want it now!

There you are!

Consider this my “out of office autoreply” for the next 10 days. I’ll try to write a little something here and there, but I may just be too busy lying on a deck chair. I’ll do my best. No promises ;)

Emily walks through The Old Man Square everyday on her way to school. We always stop to say hi.

    Hi Josh,
Last week Amanda set up the wireless in our place so you can work from here any time

That’s my Emily, must take a moment to warm up the Old Man. It’s kind of cold here in Florida, but not as cold and its dry cold. It will warm up when you get here.

Two comments in one: It’s even colder in BCN now that you’re in England. Get some cotton to shove in your leaky windows, we’ve got 0 degrees at night and a chance of snow! Also, I’ve got a lovely picture of Emily’s mom/mum with that very same old man, but when both were in a slightly naughty mood. Now I shall send it to you. Do with it what you will. (BTW, “Bye, old man” made me LOL — can one still say “LOL”?)
