It’s already very late and I will unfortunately not be able to stay up to see all of tonight’s Academy Awards in its entirety, but I would just like to say that few times in my life have I been more revolted than I was by the vacuous sycophants that inundated the shallow “red carpet” event, and few times in my life have I been more moved than I was by the sincere and eloquent tribute to the five talented actresses who were beautifully honored before the evening’s first award was presented.
