End of the Summer

Fall has fallen upon us so I’d better clear out all of the summer photos still lying around waiting to be shared.

Checking out the street decorations at the Festa de Gracia

Found one that she really liked

Waiting for the Metro

Chloe at Emily’s “Second Annual Nude Gay Beach Party”

The Mask

Ed, Basia, and Natalie join us for a little train ride

Two and Tree

Crashed Out

And video!

The dolphins are Emily’s absolute favorite animals in the zoo. Those season passes were the best investment we made all summer.

Emily just started singing this one day. We never sat down and taught it to her and we never heard her build up to this. She just came out with the entire first verse.

i love her tie-dye sundress! so cute

ps: thought you’d like to know that for some reason there are two copies of this entry showing up on LJ…

  • Josh says:

Thanks for the heads up. I noticed that, too. One of the copies no longer exists but LJ already cached it. Nothing I can do about it, I’m afraid.

Are you familiar with Dar William’s song “The End of the Summer?” It’s a beautiful, mournful cry of music.

I’m not sure if this was your intent, but the subject line of this post brings that to mind.

  • Josh says:

I am unfamiliar with that song. Sounds broody. I’ll have to look it up…
