The alarm clock that sat next to my head for the past year and a half decided to start making this ever-so-soft, almost-inaudible hum last week. The key word there being “almost”. The damn thing drove me nuts! I’m a fairly heavy sleeper and nothing can normally stop be from nodding off when I’m tired, but that infernal hum made me rip the clock out of the wall and throw it in the garbage. Now I need a new alarm clock.
